SIGMA RUN BLOG: SIGMA RUN 2022 - SAVE THE DATE! 

Did you hear the great news? The Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run will be back in 2022! Calling all runners, wheelers, walkers, who do it for more than the fun and support the worthy cause each year. 
What is Sigma Run?
Not to toot our own horn but the Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run is a BIG deal (beep-beep). The Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run has held the title for the largest road race in the Caribbean for the past two decades. 

The unique road running event started in 1999 by Sagicor Group Jamaica to inspire fun, fitness, and camaraderie among Jamaica’s business community and galvanize thousands of Jamaicans to run, walk, or wheel for a worthy cause. 

Over the years the race has raised over $500 million in funds, which have been donated to numerous beneficiaries in the health and education sectors. 

Last year, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the run was primarily virtual with a special invitational event for a limited number of race participants. This year, we’re doing things, bigger and better (with all COVID-19 protocols observed of course).
Sigma Run 2022 
Let me let you in on a secret. This year’s event will be thrice as nice! There are all of THREE ways to register for the run and participate, and numerous other ways for you to donate to the cause… but that is another story. 

For this staging, you will be able to: 
- Run virtually (from anywhere you choose) between February 1 - 20, 2022; 
- Run at the Sagicor Sigma Corporate Bubble Run Sunday, February 13, 2022;
- Run in the Sagicor Sigma Invitational Run on Sunday, February 20, 2022 (by Invitation Only) 

 

So, mark your calendars, the 23rd staging of the Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run is on and we need your help. All proceeds from this year’s race will go towards purchasing much-needed medical equipment for the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH).
