Mark is an experienced insurance professional with extensive knowledge in all classes of general insurance. He started his insurance career as a Claims Broker handling and advising clients on a variety of claims for a local Broker with international and local ownership, following which, he was Claims Inspector and later Claims Manager for the Barbados Fire & General Insurance Co. now Sagicor General Insurance Inc.

He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the General Insurance Association of Barbados (GIAB) for whom he conducted seminars on insurance and related topics. He was tutor for some subjects leading to the Certificate and, Diploma of Insurance offered by the Insurance Institute of Barbados.

Mark joined Sagicor General in 2018, upon its amalgamation with Harmony General Insurance Company Ltd. where he was employed for over 20 years. He held the position of Vice President- Insurance Operations and Reinsurance as well as being a Director of Harmony General Insurance Company Ltd. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute of the UK.
