This past October, Sagicor Life Inc showed its appreciation for its clients with a week of activities marking Customer Service Week. One special client was celebrated as he has held his insurance policy with the company longer than any other customer currently insured in Barbados. Sagicor Life Inc's Customer Experience department spearheaded the celebration which recognised Mr. Michael Clarke, who has been a Sagicor client for 80 years. Making the event even more special was that Mr. Clarke celebrated his 92nd birthday two days later on October 12th.

 

The Sagicor team provided a catered three-course dinner for Mr. Clarke and family at his home, they presented him with a special token recognising his status, as well as a cake to celebrate his birthday. Senior Sagicor Life Inc executive Raoul Williams, Vice President - Individual Life Insurance Administration, Cynthia Blackman, Manager - Customer Experience and Charlie Packer, Sagicor Advisor, were on-hand to give their regards and make the presentations.

 

The Customer Experience team expressed their appreciation to Mr. Clarke for entrusting Sagicor with his life for 80 years. Mr. Raoul Williams shared with the guest-of-honour, “Although we have many clients across the Caribbean, each one is special to us and we are happy to have you in the Sagicor family for eight decades. Longevity is a quality which Sagicor shares with you Mr. Clarke, as you have remained committed to you and your family’s security through Sagicor, for over 175 years we have been committed to serving clients like you, and the communities in which we operate.”

 

While declaring his intention to keep the record for being the longest insured client for some time to come, Mr. Clarke expressed his gratitude for the celebration, “I feel very special knowing that with Sagicor, I am not just a number.” He thanked the team from Sagicor Life Inc for the memorable night.
