Bridgetown, Barbados: Those excited about the holiday season and eager for any opportunity to get themselves into the holiday spirit, need not look any further than this Sunday, December 10^th, and the second annual “Christmas in the City” concert, hosted by Sagicor.

Featuring performances by Sagicor’s very own Chillax Band, the St. Leonard’s Boy’s Pan Orchestra, vocalist Jillisa Rene, along with other talented acts, this free, magical, musical experience was created by the leading insurance and financial institution as one of the many ways in which it could give back to the people of Barbados.

“Every year around this time, we support and contribute to several community outreach efforts, whether these are in the form of financial donations; food, toys, or clothes drives; volunteering our time, among others”, said Paul Inniss, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Sagicor Life Inc. “The creation of this event was another way in which we could bring holiday cheer and put smiles on the faces of individuals, particularly at this festive time of the year.”

“It also provides us with an opportunity to showcase talented individuals to a wider audience, such as the Sagicor team members that make up the Chillax Band, and of course the schools and other organisations whose development, musical and otherwise, we are happy to support.”, added Mr. Inniss.

Patrons can certainly look forward to two hours of heart-warming, cheerful and joyous renditions from the various acts, the perfect way to really get them into the spirit for the remainder of the yuletide season.
