COMPETITION RULES

  1. Eligibility: The Rate & Win competition (the “Competition”) is open to legal residents of Barbados. Entrants must be 18 years and older as of their date of entry in this promotion in order to qualify. Staff members of the Sagicor Group of Companies (“Sagicor”) and their immediate families are ineligible to participate in the Competition.

     

  2. The Competition Entry Period: This promotion begins February 24th and ends on March 2nd, 2023] at 11:59PM AST (“Entry Period”). To be eligible for the Competition, entries must be received within the specified Entry Period.

  3. How to Enter:

    1. Participants must interact with a Sagicor Advisor at the 2023 Agrofest event, after which they will be give the option to scan a QR code and answer a few short questions about their experience at the booth or with the brand for a chance to win.
    2. Submissions must be made by entering details in the competition entry form via the Sagicor QR Code.
    3. As a participant, your entry must fully meet all Competition requirements, as specified in these Rules, inorder to be eligible to win a prize.
    4. Incomplete entries or those that do not adhere to the Rules or specifications will be disqualified at the Sagicor's sole discretion.
    5. Fraudulent methods of entry or circumvention of the rules may result in Sagicor invalidating your entries and removing them from the Competition at the Sagicor’s sole discretion.

       

  4. Prizes: The Grand Prize Winner(s) of the Competition (the “Winner”) will receive a BBD $500 Sagicor Asset Management Mutual Funds Gift Certificate. The winner must keep the awarded BBD $500 mutual funds investment for at least three years. There is no cash alternative to the prize, and the mutual funds investment will only be made available to the person named on the certificate. It is not transferable.

  5. Selection and Notification of Winner: The Winner will be selected by an internal auditor assessing the submission under the supervision of Sagicor. The Winner will be announced on March 8th, 2023 and Sagicor will notify the Winner by email or telephone within 5 business days following Winner selection. Sagicor is not responsible for nor shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to email security settings that may cause notifications to be marked as spam or junk email. Nor shall Sagicor be liable for the Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. Sagicor reserves the right to select another winner if the original winner is unresponsive.

     

  6. Terms & Conditions: In its sole discretion, Sagicor reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the Competition should non-authorized human intervention, a bug or virus, fraud, or other causes beyond the Sagicor’s control, impact or corrupt the security, fairness, proper conduct, or administration of the Competition.

     

  7. Data Protection Statement: Any personal information that entrants share with Sagicor will be kept secure and only used in line with these terms and conditions.
