Sagicor Life Inc Crowned Best Large Business at BCCI Bicentennial Gala and Awards
Bridgetown, Barbados: On a night dedicated to honouring 200 years of business excellence, Sagicor Life Inc (Sagicor) stood out as one of the evening’s top achievers, capturing the Best Business Award in the Large Business Category at the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (BCCI) Bicentennial Gala & Awards. Held at the Wyndham Grand Barbados Resort, the ceremony brought together the island’s leading corporate figures to celebrate resilience, leadership, and innovation across industries.
The award, which recognizes companies that exemplify exceptional business performance, leadership, and contribution to national development, reinforces Sagicor’s position as a powerhouse in the insurance and financial services sector. Sagicor’s impact in community health screening in underserved areas through its Sagicor Cares programme, support for children in their education through the Learning in Harmony Homework Programme, as well as the investment in STEM education were all highlighted.

Sagicor also received special acknowledgement during the gala for its more than 150 years of service to Barbados. A distinction that underlines its deep roots and enduring commitment to the island’s growth and progress. The company is celebrating its 185th anniversary later this year.
