Sagicor in Trinidad and Tobago Celebrates Brand Week

Port of Spain—Sagicor held its inaugural Brand and Culture Week on July 15 to 19, and it was a whirlwind of daily activity.

Robert Trestrail, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Sagicor Life Inc, said: “The Brand and Culture Week was meant to serve as a development experience, enabling our staff and advisors to personally identify and align with our Sagicor values and to live the brand beliefs every day through their actions.”

It all began on July 15 and July 16 with Brand Labs in San Fernando and Port of Spain for both Sagicor Life and Sagicor General employees. At these training sessions, staff and advisors learnt what the Sagicor brand stood for: the company’s vision, brand beliefs, history and heritage.

Over Wednesday and Thursday, several teams enthusiastically participated in Taboo and Pictionary, Sagicor style, with the finalists facing off in the Games finale at Funtastic Friday, on July 19.

Held at Sagicor Life’s head office in Port of Spain, Funtastic Friday was a mix of the Games finale – Jeoparody; a Talent Show, with 23 entrants! and a Brand Market. Staff had the opportunity to reward their colleagues for living the brand values, giving exceptional service and going above and beyond the call of duty, by giving them “Brand money”, which was then redeemed at the Brand Market for Sagicor-branded items.
