Founded on January 8, 1999, Sagicor Panama (previously Capital de Seguros) was established as a subsidiary of Capital Life, offering a portfolio of employee benefit coverage. We’ve since launched a series of products and services that include annuities, individual life, individual health, group life and health, group credit life, and personal accident coverage.

 
We manage our group and individual health policies and personal accidents, through our Preferred Provider Network, who facilitate fast and efficient service for all our medical service providers. The strength of Sagicor Panama, S.A has significantly enhanced the international insurance industry. Our company represents INSUROPE in Panama, an international network provider of life and health insurance for multinationals.

Sagicor Panama is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sagicor Group, established in 1840 as The Barbados Mutual Life Assurance Society. The company employs over 1,500 people worldwide, and operates offices in 22 countries throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
