Sagicor continues acts of kindness at Cyril Ross Home
July 27, 2021
As part of its 180th anniversary, Sagicor continues with its 180 acts of kindness. This programme forms part of its corporate social responsibility thrust where the regional insurer supports Trinidad and Tobago citizens with small gestures that can have big impacts to the lives of those in the communities it serves.
Here, Sandra Stapleton, left, manager of the Cyril Ross Children’s Home, receives grocery vouchers and a cheque to Mohammed’s Bookstore, from Alyssa Latchan, an associate in Sagicor’s Supplementary Sales Unit. This act of kindness is timely, as the children will be moving into new classes in September hence the need for the appropriate schoolbooks and stationery.
The home provides care to children living with HIV and is managed by the Society of St Vincent De Paul. Currently, it has 11 children, between the ages of three and 24.
