Sagicor Celebrates Women
This year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) has seen a new dynamic around the world caused by the changes brought about by the global health pandemic. The impact on women is incalculable as many have been disproportionately affected, either by the loss of their job or pulling double duty as homeschool teachers and working professionals.
Sagicor recognises that it is important to celebrate women’s achievements. For IWD 2021, Sagicor acknowledged the contributions of several women who are facing the challenges brought on by covid-19 and are determined to overcome them. These women Choose to Challenge, whether through juggling multiple roles as mothers and professionals, or giving back to society by working with organisations in their communities.
