Wayne gets MDRT honour

Regional insurer Sagicor congratulates branch manager Wayne Mohammed for his appointment to the Million Dollar Round Table’s (MDRT) Membership Communications Committee as the company chair for the organisation, effective September 1.
Mohammed began his career in insurance sales 35 years ago. Since then, he has won numerous company and industry awards, as well as qualifying for MDRT on seven occasions. Prior to his January 2021 appointment as branch manager, he also copped the agency of the year award in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2020.
He said, “I am honored to serve as MDRT chair for Sagicor. The purpose of life is to contribute in some way to making things better. As chair, I will have the opportunity to engage with up-and-coming financial advisors, and even veterans in the industry, and show them how MDRT can add value to their lives, as well as bring even more opportunities. Having qualified for MDRT myself, I can speak authentically to that experience.”
As chair, Mohammed will be responsible for “promoting MDRT and communicating information to current and aspiring members, companies, and other industry organisations and reporting the needs and concerns of members to the MDRT Executive Committee and MDRT headquarters.”

MDRT members demonstrate exceptional professional knowledge, strict ethical conduct and outstanding client service.
