Sagicor Life supports Faces of Cancer, St Lucia Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Castries, St Lucia: Sagicor Life always supports the annual observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month with activities that seek to educate and initiate action or provide financial support to those in need. This year was no different, as the team from Sagicor Life at the Choc Estate office took a moment to make donations to the Faces of Cancer and the St Lucia Cancer Society.
Both organisations work to support individuals and families whose lives are touched by cancer, from the point of diagnosis and every step of the way after that.
Eon Phillips, Assistant Vice President for Sagicor Life’s Eastern Caribbean Operations and Branch Manager and Principal Representative for Sagicor Life Inc In St Lucia said, “At Sagicor we know the financial and emotional cost of having a loved one face the challenges of a cancer diagnosis and every bit of support that can be provided to organisations like Faces of Cancer and the St Lucia Cancer Society goes a long, long way to impacting the care and wellbeing of all involved.”
In addition to staff from Sagicor Life St Lucia, Ms. Paula Alfred, Secretary for Faces of Cancer and Dr. Tamara Remy, President of the St Lucia Cancer Society were present to accept the cheques on behalf of their respective organisations.
