Sagicor hosts CEO Back to School and Financial Cafe Experience at Arthur Lok Jack Business Mixer

September 28, 2018
This year, both Sagicor Life Inc and Sagicor General Insurance Inc. partnered with the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business for two of their signature events: The CEO’s Back- to-School Series and their Business Mixer.  The events were designed by the school’s namesake and prominent businessman Arthur Lok Jack, to enable networking and business-minded discussions among Alumni, Students and the Public.

The objectives of the sponsorship were to:

Position the brand as a provider of insurance products to young professionals/entrepreneurs throughout their career
Gain access to over 5000 alumni members
Engage attendees while promoting both Life and General products
Capture at least 60% leads through our Financial Advisors

The CEO’s Back-to-School series features prominent CEOs of major companies from across the region, who impart their knowledge, life lessons and learning experiences to the participants. We were proud to be the main sponsors of this event which seeks to advance knowledge acquisition amongst professionals.

For the Business Mixer, Sagicor created a Financial Café in partnership with Dwellings Home Furnishings and Brazilian coffee makers, Colcafe. The Thomas Gatcliffe Terrace was converted into a café-type experience where over 80 alumni and students sipped on Colcafe coffee as they interacted with Sagicor Advisors on their financial needs.  To compliment the experience, Sagicor used a digital approach with the use of digital screens and IPADs to market our products and reinforce the value of insurance to the audience, which comprised mostly of millennials.

The Sagicor Financial Café connected financial professionals and young people in a relaxed, stress-free environment. Our Advisors were able to leverage the opportunity by building and expanding their professional network, adding to their new-business contacts and showcasing the company’s product and services.

Sponsorship value contributed by Sagicor General $24,000.
