Sagicor Funded Mammogram Drive Ready to Kick Off

November 22, 2019

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – The financial donation by Sagicor to the National Breast Screening Programme is ready to be put to good use.

This is after the leading insurance company made the official presentation of Bds$7,000 raised during the month of October, to cover the cost of dozens of mammograms for individuals in the community not able to afford it.

The funds, which were donated by staff of the company through several activities during Breast Cancer Awareness month, will be administered through a process managed by the National Breast Screening Programme, resulting in approximately 80 individuals having access to the screening service in the coming weeks and months.
