Sagicor donates furniture to Youth Club
Trinidad and Tobago: Regional financial services and insurance provider Sagicor continues its long standing relationship with the St James Police Youth Club, as it assisted the club recently with the furnishing of their homework centre.
Here, Sagicor unit manager David Webster, right, from the Christopher Gouveia branch, hands over the furniture, along with stationery items to Richard Byer who is part of the management team of the youth club.
The club, which was founded in 1992 by police officer Derrick Sharbodie and has been managed by him ever since, serves the needs of youths of Diego Martin, as an alternative to juvenile delinquency and crime. Sagicor’s relationship with the club began in 2013 and over the years Sagicor has sponsored several initiatives including a computer literacy camp for club members, donated laptops, conducted refurbishment works, and provided covid relief packages during the pandemic.
