Sagicor was pleased to support the Muslim community of Trinidad and Tobago by donating $25,000 in food vouchers, which supported 100 families, to the Anjuman Sunnat ul Jamaat Association (ASJA) in Charlieville in observance of Eid-ul-Fitr which took place on May 13.

Robert Trestrail, president and CEO, Sagicor Life Inc, said, “We join with the Muslim community in observing Eid in Trinidad and Tobago. We know how difficult it must be not being able to come together to celebrate the end of Ramadan. COVID-19 and the restrictions that have been put in place to stop the spread of the virus has meant that more of our nationals need assistance and we are very pleased to partner with ASJA in this way. We hope that this donation will provide some relief to those who need it most.”
