PCA - Tampa Bay Reveals Class of 2022 Triple-Impact Competitor® Scholarship Finalists

Tampa, Florida August 3, 2021 — Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) - Tampa Bay has announced 50 Tampa Bay area student-athletes from the high school class of 2022, as finalists for the Triple-Impact Competitor® Scholarship Awards presented by Sagicor Life Insurance Company (Sagicor). The finalists will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers, PCA mentors and business leaders in the community. Through this year-long program, they will gain both leadership and professional skills aimed at helping them become better athletes, better people. 

“Sagicor is proud to be involved with the Triple-Impact Competitor® Scholarship Awards program.” said Bart Catmull, President of Sagicor Life Insurance Company. “Through our partnership with PCA - Tampa Bay, we’ll have the opportunity to watch these incredible youth leaders from the Tampa Bay area drive positive change in their sport, school and communities. We hope that our investment today, will help them keep our community as one of the greatest places to live, work and thrive well into the future.”

At least 25 winners will be selected in the fall as recipients of the Triple-Impact Competitor® Scholarship Award, and Sagicor will donate $2,000 to each of the winners to go toward college expenses.
