A.M. Best affirms Sagicor’s A- (Excellent) credit rating

A.M. Best recently affirmed its “A-” (Excellent) Rating and Stable Rating Outlook for Sagicor Life Insurance Company (Sagicor). This comes as part of A.M. Best’s annual review of Sagicor’s parent company, Sagicor Financial Company Ltd. (SFCL) (Bermuda) and its subsidiaries. The outlook reflects Sagicor’s balance sheet strength, which A.M. Best characterizes as very strong, in addition to the company’s operating performance, favorable business profile and appropriate enterprise risk management. We are extremely pleased with this affirmation, as we continue to expand our U.S. market penetration.
