MyCash Discontinuation

Dear MyCash customer, 

We take this opportunity to inform you that the MyCash Sagicor Mastercard program will be discontinued on May 11, 2022. After this date, you will no longer be able to use your MyCash Sagicor prepaid card or app.

Clients who currently have recurring payments or access direct deposits via their MyCash Prepaid Cards will need to immediately make alternative arrangements. We recommend you withdraw all the money from your account as soon as possible and to make sure you close it by the time the end date becomes effective.

Since the program will come to an end, here are some important dates you should keep in mind:

  • Effective Monday, April 18, 2022, cash-ins or the loading of funds to MyCash accounts will be discontinued.
  • You can use your MyCash Sagicor Prepaid Mastercard up to and including May 11, 2022
  • Your card and account will no longer work after May 11, 2022

FAQs

There will be a general notification to all MyCash clients on March 1, 2022 via in-app notifications. If you have an available balance on your card, we will advise you further on how to proceed. 

The Sagicor Bank MyCash cards remain the property of Sagicor Bank. We will discontinue the card on May 11, 2022 and advise you to destroy the card.

The mobile wallet/App will be discontinued, and you will not be able to perform transactions after May 11, 2022.

Deposits and P2P (in-App) transfers will discontinue on April 18, 2022. 

POS and ATM withdrawals up to May 11, 2022.

Online/Ecommerce, Top Up and Bill Pay transactions (via the mobile app) up to May 11, 2022.

We recommend that all MyCash account holders withdraw or use their funds prior to May 11, 2022. However, if for some reason you still have funds after this day please contact Sagicor Bank 888-Sagicor (724-4267) to discuss access to your funds.

Please visit the Sagicor Bank location closest to you with a valid government ID, telephone number used to register the app (phone and number must be active) and Taxpayer Registration Number.

You will be able to renew and replace cards up to April 18, 2022.

Monthly fees will be charged on all open/active accounts until April 30, 2022.

Funds cannot be credited to your account after the product is closed. Any deposits received for your account after May 11, 2022 will be automatically rejected and returned to the sender.
