The Sagicor Group recognises the importance of social investment, such as donations and sponsorship, to the development of our local communities.

Over the past year, and indeed over many decades, we have provided financial support and voluntary assistance, primarily in the areas of health, education, youth development and sports to a number of organisations and institutions in the Caribbean.

We have continued to provide significant support for the prevention of non-communicable diseases, promoting healthy living and improving access to and facilities for health-care in the region. We have supported education at the primary, secondary and tertiary level and sponsored a number of adult education and development activities. Sagicor also assists a number of youth development and sporting organisations in areas such as cricket, table tennis, basketball, swimming, chess and horseracing.

However, we believe that through the way we manage our operations make an even more important contribution to our local communities. In its own operations, Sagicor provides employment and fosters local management talent in each country. Our major contribution continues to be in the financial protection and stability we have provided for almost two centuries to individuals, families and business in our communities.
